For nearly 27 years, we have fought for the Protection and conservation Of waterways across Montana

• Promote the legal standing and beneficial use of in-stream flow, as the minimum in-stream flow needed to maintain the life, health and integrity of perennial flowing streams.

• Increase public awareness of the importance of in-stream flows to the health of the state’s economy as well as the preservation of water quality habitat and recreational values.

• Encourage discussion among diverse water interests to reach equitable economic solutions that result in in-stream flow maintenance.

• Develop grassroots and state-wide activism strategies designed to change water use patterns and build consensus around new law and regulations that enhance water quality and protect in-stream flows.
